For my art class we had to take a picture of ourselves depicting a movie still. The idea of this assignment came from Untitled Film Still by Cindy Sherman. I wanted to take the photo a step further and corrupt the image similar to how Rob Sheridan used it in Nine Inch Nails' "Year Zero" or in "The Social Network" soundtrack. To use the idea of corruption to go along with the movie I was depicting, I also decided to do a "Year Zero" inspired film still. I got my friend's gun and played a resistance soldier. The corrption would make it seem as if the government or like a big brother is watching over me. Was tricky at first but after I few tries I figured out what area of the code did what. The last one is my favorite. Was able to mess around and corrupted more specific areas. Definitely going to be doing more in the future.
